As highly mobile M-Tank units took over the battlefield it bacame apparent that a mobile support unit was necessary to keep the M-tanks in working order while away from base. Using the same motive technology as the M-Tank the 04-4 series Automated Support Tank is able to keep up with any M-T unit it is assinged to in order to provide duties including ECM, ECCM, communication support for the Com-Tank, radar support for the Com-Tank, reloading of ammunition for M-Tanks, moderate levels of M-T repairs, as well as others. Armed with a turret mounted mid class field gun as well as an array of decoy dischargers the Support Tank can also provide fire support if necessary.
